nasty red blistery itchy bump...

sooo, I think it was Sunday when I first noticed that my arm started growing an itchy red blistery bump, about 1/4 inch in diameter. My first thought was, "is that a chicken pock???" nooo way. I already had chicken pox. Then my friend, Dylan, who interns with me told me Monday that she got ringworm..and probably from a kid at the community center! Ick. But I don't think my bump is ringworm; it looks totally different. So I thought that if it doesn't go away in a week, or if it gets worse, I'll go get it checked out at University Health Services. In the meantime, I have been keeping a band-aid on it, to prevent my itching, and in case it's contaigious through direct contact.

Well....I noticed that last night it had for sure gotten worse! It's bigger, probably about 1/2 inch now, and the middle is sort of starting to scab a little?? I don't know. It's gross. I have no idea what it is. So, in a couple hours I'm going in to have it looked it. I wonder what it is. Hopefully nothing really scary!! But I kinda hope the doctor says I have to stay away from kids due to its contaigiousness (is that a word?). Then I'd get the night off!! :)
